André Ventura holds a law degree from the Nova University of Lisboa and a doctorate in public law from University College Cork in Ireland. He is currently Assistant Professor at the University Autónoma of Lisboa and a Professor at the Faculty of Law of the Nova University of Lisboa. André Ventura is fluent in English, Spanish, French, Arabic, and Hebrew.

Life is made of irony, André Ventura wanted to be a priest at 17 years old. Benfica commands priests on the field but also outside it. He studied at the Externato de Penafirme, at A dos Cunhados. André Ventura thought he could be one of the voices of change in the Church.
He is now one of the voices who ordains priests and masses in the Portuguese League.
