With the new e-mails on the Internet, it is possible to see that Benfica helps illegal groups of supporters in both the sale of tickets and, of course, to supply/store pyrotechnic objects in the stadium.
When Benfica played with Vitória de Setúbal in 2008, Rui Pereira, Benfica’s Director of Security and Game Organization, sent the following e-mail to Paulo Gonçalves.
Interestingly, it’s just tickets to the South Bank, where Benfica’s illegal supporters are. You know who Nuno Gago is?
Nuno Gago was “Zé Gago” in 2008 and was a known member of the No Name Boys. In 2008 “Zé Gago” had a meeting with Luís Filipe Vieira so that the president of Benfica would make concessions to the No Name Boys.
The concessions were as follows:
– Return the “little house” [space where No Name Boys would meet] to No Name Boys
– To dismiss the head of security, Mr. Paulo Dias
– Authorize the use of torches inside the stadium.

Now Nuno Gago is an official employee of Benfica…strange no?
Of course, the use of torches is allowed in the stadium
Rui Pereira also sent Paulo Gonçalves the following e-mail:
